About Sundown Karaoke
Since June 1999, Sundown Karaoke has been providing entertainment at clubs on the north and east sides of Houston. We have consistently maintained the best sound systems and song selection of karaoke shows in the area. As we continue to expand, it is our goal to continue to provide the best in karaoke entertainment, as well as carry these values over into other entertainment areas.
Song List:
At Sundown Karaoke, we are constantly updating our song list. Our motto is "If you want it, and it's available, we'll get it!" This has allowed us to increase our song selection with songs that people actually want to sing, instead of continually adding deadwood that will just fill space in the song book. Along with requested songs, we are also regularly adding new releases as they become available. It is for these reasons that the most common responses of new singers are "I can't believe you already have this song!" and "No one else has this song!" We also strive to keep only the best versions of each song available. We define the best version as the closest to the original.
Equipment:
In order to provide consistent playback of our music, Sundown Karaoke became computerized in August of 2001. This means that each time you sing a song at Sundown Karaoke, it will playback the same as the first time. This prevents scratched and skipping cd's, as there is no cd to scratch. We also use only the best sound equipment. Currently both systems operate Peavy mixer-amps and speakers, as well as high quality microphones, both corded and cordless. This allows each singer to sound as professional as possible.
